There will be a Special Election on May 4th to vote on the School Facilities Improvement Bond. With decades of deferred maintenance, the need to invest in our public school infrastructure is critical and long overdue. With this unprecedented opportunity to have roughly half of the cost of these improvements paid for by state bond money (of which SK taxpayers have already contributed), we are in a position to receive tens of millions of dollars of infrastructure investment returned to our community.
