I'm raising funds to help rebuild the 2 km farm access driveway that after cyclone Jasper is affected by landslides, deep gully washouts and a severely flood damaged causeway on the main creek crossing at the front of the property which gives us access to the main road.
I'm one of the caretakers of Auravale farm in the Bloomfield in far north Queensland, we are currently getting some food supplies and fuel airlifted in by helicopter but desperately need our vehicle access back to town and health services.
Myself and my beloved dog Shanti were rushed to emergency intensive care on seperate occasions last year and having not been able to drive our selves to hospitals over an hour away on short notice the out come for us both may have been very different.
Anyone who knows the farm and it's families who have been here caring for the land for 50 years and us the current caretakers and the history and connection to Cedar Bay and it's many adventurers please help us with whatever you can spare it will be greatly appreciated.
