Hi! My name is Aura and I am a queer trans individual fundraising for my top surgery recovery in July of 2025.

I am my own sole provider, I have no savings, and I am currently struggling to make ends meet. I will be unable to work for about 6 weeks post-op... This means that all my regular expenses plus any medical expenses related to surgery will be hard, if not impossible, to cover on my own. I am going to have to source medical equipment and supplies, as well as pay for medication and general expenses such as food and rent.

I am reluctantly turning to my amazing community to ask for help; reluctantly only because I hate asking anyone for anything. But as a good friend recently reminded me: we can't do everything alone.
