My name is Bobbie. If you're here, you probably already know a bit about what has happened to my cute asf, furry child - Aura.

In April, I received a call that Aura had been lost. I left work and called every vet and animal hospital in the area until I found her. She had survived a traumatic injury. Aura had been run over by a car which left her with a broken left leg, shattered pelvis, and severe nerve damage in the right leg. She couldn’t walk and didn’t know if she would ever be able to.

You never think this will happen to your dog, you know? You hear stories but I didn't realize how life-altering they are until I lived it. I had to wake up throughout the night to give her medicine, clean her wounds, carry her to the bathroom, help her stand, hand-feed her, etc. Simultaneously, I need to provide for both of our lives - which is not cheap... After months of rehab (which is also not cheap) and loads of kisses (fo free), she started walking again!

Fast forward, Aura started to limp again severely over the past month. I took her to the vet, and she had to have another emergency surgery. Needless to say, this is all sooooo so expensive... It's been quite the year, but we're trying to stay optimistic! By donating - you'll be helping her SO MUCH with surgery costs, rehab, and the proper medication she needs to get better. She also will be sending e-licks/kisses to all of you :)

Help Aura get healthy enough to play with her brother, Buster, again! They miss each other so much.
