I am Natalia, from Mexico. I have been in touch with Sameh via instagram for months now. He had another crowdfunding campaign but it was shut down withour further notice and all he had been raising was lost. Here are the words Sameh asked me to share with you:

"Hello:

I am Sameh Shurrab from Khan Yunis, Palestine. I am 30 years old, married, and due to the circumstances of the war, I lost my source of livelihood, and my private residence was destroyed and burned. My wife and I were preparing before the outbreak of the war to perform an In vitro proceeding; the samples had already been taken and frozen, but we were not able to complete the treatment because the occupation forces stormed the embryo preservation center and completely destroyed it.

Me and my family were displaced to Gaza City. For 12 months we have been enduring bombing and killing non stop. My family and I suffer from a lack of food and water. We are dying in Gaza. We really need urgent help.

Our home, which my parents spent years of their lives working to build and equip, was completely burned, as we lost our past, present, and future with it. Less than the blink of an eye our house turn into ruins and we were left with no shelter.

My father has reached retirement age and his income has become limited, barely covering his daily bread and the cost of his treatment. He suffers from cartilage pain in the fourth and fifth vertebrae in the spine. My mother is a teacher who works in the education field, which was halted in the Gaza Strip. Also she suffers from an increase in the heart rate, and diabetes. Due to malnutrition and the lack of appropriate treatment the complications of her diabetes increased and developed until it led to inflammation of the joints (rheumatism).

I have an unmarried sister who was working as a freelance graphic designer, but she stopped working since the beginning of the attacks due to power outages and weak internet.

This is why I ask people of conscience to donate to us to help us survive an to rebuild our lives and our future again.

Nuestro hogar, que mis padres pasaron años construyendo y equipando, fue quemada por completo y con ella perdimos nuestro pasado, presente y futuro. En menos de un parpadeo nuestra casa se convirtió en ruinas y nos quedamos sin refugio.

Mi padre estaba retirado y sus ingresos eran muy limitados, apenas para cubrir sus alimentos y su tratamiento. Él sufre de dolor en los cartílagos en la cuarta y quinta vértebra de su columna. Mi madre es una maestra que trabajaba en el campo de la educación, que se detuvo por completo en la Franja de Gaza. Además sufre de taquicardia y diabetes. Debido a la malnutrición y falta de tratamiento las complicaciones de su diabetes se incrementaron hasta llegar a la inflamación de las articulaciones (reumatismo).

Tengo una hermana soltera que estaba trabajando por su cuenta como diseñadora gráfica, y no ha podido volver a trabajar desde el principio de la guerra debido a la falta de electricidad e internet débil.

Es por esto que pido ayuda a la gente de buena consciencia, sus donaciones nos ayudarán a sobrevivir y reconstruir nuestras vidas y nuestro futuro de nuevo.
