This fundraiser is for our Auntie, Pilar.
She passed on 3/2/25.
We need to raise enough funds to cover her cremation.
We're just over $1k short, and need help covering the rest, with taxes & fees..
Auntie was a powerhouse.
She moved here from the Philippines and created a life for herself as a nursing administrator.
Aunties journey led her to befriend celebrities and helped birth, or care for their children.
She had endless stories to tell!
When her sister passed from Diabetes, she chose to raise her nephew, Raymond, as her own.
Through her relationship & bond with Raymond, she grew to be even more accepting, loving & compassionate.
Auntie became ALL of our family.
She had a heart of pure gold, yet a fire within her no one could touch.
She was fierce, witty, and one of the most resilient souls that ever lived.
She taught compassion, forgiveness & understanding.
Auntie loved to say "You know I'm crazy, right?!"
I told her that's why we got along.
(This is Angela, whom Auntie claimed as her niece, on behalf of Ernest Raymond)
She loooooved food & sweets, always saying "Oh, this is goood!"
Her laughter was contagious. Her love, even more so.
We're asking for help to be able to cremate her and honor her life the way she deserves.
Please, help us give her the honor she earned.
Thank you-
To anyone who was blessed to know or meet her, and to any stranger that finds this and feels her residual energy and love resonating in these words.
Your help will help heal, and gift her the goodbye she's so well earned.
We love you, Auntie Pilar!
