Dearest Friends and Family,

We lost our Mother this past Sunday, who was also known as "Aunt Marcia" to all her beloved nieces and nephews. My sister and I are broken hearted, and still cannot believe how quickly this all happened.

In reflecting on her life, she was a colorful person, full of life, humor, spirit, never judging anyone she knew. She was always willing to help anyone in need, and many of you knew her as someone who beat to her own drum and lived life to the fullest. Unfortunatley, after fighting for an entire month in the hospital, she just could not continue any longer, and we lost her in the hospital due to acute respitorary issues.

We have opened this fund as this falls at a time when Brooke just finished up her Masters Degree, and during her exstensive time as a student she exhausted all her vacation and paid time off. Within my own family, we just found out we will have to move unexpectedly next month, and I am still rebuilding my small business post Covid.

Anything helps as we prepare for funeral arrangements, clearing out her apartment, and settling final bills. We completely understand that you may be going through difficulties, and if you are unable to donate, then, please do not worry--even just kinds words are enough contribution for us and will touch our hearts.

We plan to hold an End of Life Celebration in the near future, and will give everyone plenty of notice. This will be a blessing to gather family together, and a good time to reflect on her life, and how rich she was in family and friendships.
