Aunt Joni's Burial Fund
As everyone can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for her grieving family, and we don't have the financial means (and neither did she) to carry out her wishes without the aid of loved ones. Please, this is a time when ALL of the family is needed the most: If you are able to donate ANYTHING, and can find it in your heart to give back to the strong woman who gave it all and then some, it would mean the world to us, especially to her.
Joan "Joni" Sanders was a beloved sister, auntie, and Mom to all of her many fur babies over the years. God welcomed her Home to be with her husband on the evening of December 8th, 2020, at her home in Fortuna, California just a few days before her birthday. She cherished her family and wore her heart on her sleeve, taking care of lost souls from all walks of life, giving them a loving home and a safe place to be. She supported many animal rights foundations and often donated whatever she could to better another's life. Her last few days were spent walking her fur baby Bella on the river bar in Fortuna, and decorating her home with her many Christmas decorations.
She made sure that her family was always taken care of, and was rarely ever seen without a camera to document the many incredible experiences she was blessed with being a part of. She leaves behind her nephews Randy and Jayden Hensley, as well as her nieces: Maryann Day, Myianna, Meka, Mellodee, Maria, her sister Rose Caravetta, her bother Michael Caravetta, her Godsons Danny, Alex, and Dominic, as well as many other cherished family members. Per her wishes, she will be laid to rest in Ukiah, California with her devoted husband, "Big Randy" Sanders, and her fur babies, Psycho and D. O. G.

guys. Your contributions made it so we were able to lay her to rest on 12/31/2020 in
Ukiah. We will still be accepting donations as we currently have a payment plan for the rest of the expenses until we can reach our goal,
but a huge HUGE THANK YOU to the
amazing people that came together for Joni!!
