Aunt B’s Funeral Costs

On March 29,2024 a true Howard Beach Legend gained her wings. For generations apon generations, this neighborhood would go to “Barbara’s” and have the privilege of waiting on Aunt B’s line. This pains me to even have to announce this. But I want to let everyone here know, that each and everyone of you meant the world to her. For the last 40 odd years, she has served this community 6 days a week. Every last one of us has stood on her line, and if her nieces or nephews were there you waited even longer, and she would ring you up or do your lotto. Remembering each and every number. She has seen everyone grow from being little kids, to having little kids and even some of those little kids having more! She has left behind 4 brothers; Howard, Michael, Peter and Billy. She has joined heaven with her mother and father Anna and Howard, Step father William Aka Uncle Bill, Sister Cathy, brother Scott and niece and nephew Brenda and Billy. She is deeply missed by 19 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, 2 great- great nieces and 1 great niece that will unfortunately never get to meet the remarkable woman we all call Aunt B. I want to personally thank everyone in this neighborhood for the bonds that you have all created with her. You all kept her going. She lived to serve. Thank you guys for protecting her in the early mornings as you are on your way to work and for the talks on your way home. She was more than just my aunt. She was my protector, my roommate, my confidant, my God Mama.
