We are creating this GoFundMe to help our Mom who had a heart attack on 3/31/25. On Monday evening (3/31) Mom went to the ER in Meadville and was quickly evaluated and found to be having a heart attack. She was rushed to the Cath lab to have stents placed but was found to have multiple blockages in multiple vessels in her heart including the widow maker. They decided to transfer her to UPMC Hamot for possible open heart surgery. She arrived Monday night and was further stabilized at Hamot’s CVICU. On Tuesday, the cardiologist reviewed her ekgs and other tests and after stabilizing her heart he decided that performing a cardiac Cath would be the best option instead of open heart. She had the cath around 2pm on Tuesday and they placed 2 stents in her heart. The cardiologist was very happy with her progress and she was discharged the next morning! She is currently off work and we are unsure for how long. She has a follow up visit with the cardiologist this week and we are hoping to find more answers. Until then we are creating this in hopes of raising some funds to alleviate some of the day to day burden of not being able to work at this time.
