To whom this may concern, I, Aundra R.
Howard, am asking for financial assistance/
help in the amount of $1-$5 per person to
help me directly with rent, food, and one
month of bills/expenses. I am not eligible for
unemployment as I am self-employed and
currently hospitalized and unable to work at the moment. Everyone that actually knows me, knows I almost never ask for money or help
but at the beginning of May 2021, I began
suddenly coughing up a significant
amount of blood, which caused me to take myself to the Emergency Room/Hospital.
As of right now, I have been told I have a large blood clot in my left lung and I have some levelof infection in my left lung too amongst other
issues. I do have health coverage but not
being able to work hinders me from being ableto make the money needed to provide shelter/food/ etc for myself. I know it’s no one’s responsibility to take care of me and my expenses,
but due to the fact that I have already been in the hospital for almost a week I’m already starting to fall behind financially.
Unfortunately, I have very little to no family
support in California and I live in California
alone/independently. My sons living in
California are the only reason why I still live in this state vice moving back to Memphis,
Tennessee where my family and childhood
friends are located. As we all know, living in
California is beyond expensive, and the
pandemic has made it that much more harder to make ends meet as a self-employed barber. Typically, I take no days off from working
(except on weekends when I focus on my sons) because I simply don’t have that luxury to sit around doing nothing.
Due to the fact that I’m now in the hospital
with no idea of when I will be released or
when I will be able to get back to work puts me in a very stressful position where I’m now
having to personally ask for help.
To anyone that can assist me with a $1-$5

prayers for a speedy recovery as I need to get back on my feet as quick as possible to regain my independence and etc.
