Bowie’s Medical Expenses

Hello Everyone, 

Early this morning my sister’s dog Bowie was attacked by a pit bull right outside her house. He was immediately taken to the animal hospital and is in critical conditions. He will most likely need surgery since he seems to have internal bleeding. The estimate they gave her to cover his medical expenses is around $6,000. The owner of the pit bull is not making herself responsible for any of the medical expenses. My sister tried getting a CareCredit credit card to cover the expenses but was denied. My sister works at a restaurant and due to the current situation she is unable to work because all restaurants are closed. She does not know when she will  be able to return to work. Our pets are like family and this dog means the world to her and has been her faithful companion since she adopted him from the shelter 2 years ago.
