In November of 2015, Pat was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. He has undergone 3 surgeries in the last 6 weeks of the year, only to find the cancer has spread. These surgeries have been so exhausting and the risk of infection is so great that he barely leaves the house other than to go to Doctor appointments. To make matters worse his wife, Patty, was laid off two days before his first surgery. With two boys, one in college and the other finishing high school, both are earmarked for the Marine Corps, he is having trouble paying for the surgeries, treatments and basic necessities. He was just informed the severity of his cancer has moved to stage 3 since it has now spread to his lymph nodes. The upcoming treatments will be more difficult and even more expensive than the previous ones. Unfortunately, the deductible began again in January, forcing our family to pay out of pocket. Despite all current hardships, the losses Pat feels the most are having to take a break from Roadrunner youth football, being involved with the Disaster Assistance Response Team for 20+ years, search and rescue, and attending the annual missions trip to Mexico to build houses. The family is doing everything that they can and relying on God for the rest. Anything is appreciated, including donations and shares but especially prayers.
Thank you in advance.
