Augustine's long road to recovery

Last Saturday night, our good friend Augustine was involved in a hit and run. He was driving home on his motorcycle, and due to the negligence of a distracted driver, she failed to stop at the intersection and they collided, even though he had the right of way. So instead of stopping to make sure he was still alive, she continued to drive away and left him to die. Augustine's wife, Jessica, was at home when she received a notification on her phone through the Life360 app that Augustine made a sudden motion, which could be a result of collision and the app recommended her to call Augustine to make sure he was ok. She tried to call Augustine and was not successful. So she got into the car with her son to go to Augustine's location to make sure he was ok. When they arrived at the scene, they saw numerous police vehicles and ambulance. Jessica and her son had to find out Augustine was involved in a bad accident and was already on a stretcher getting ready to be flown to a trauma center. Her son broke down when he saw his dad's motorcycle crushed and all the blood on the ground. Imagine having to find out your loved one was involved in such a horrific accident, and the person responsible did not even make sure he was ok. Augustine has been in the intensive care unit, with numerous injuries. He has bilateral orbital fractures, sinus fracture, rib fractures, pelvic fracture, spine fracture, left hand fracture and right wrist fracture, Right knee injury, forehead laceration, etc. With that being said, he will be out of work for many months and has a long road to recovery. I am setting up this go fund me for Augustine and his family in hopes of helping them get through this hardship. Now Augustine and his family will have to celebrate Christmas in the hospital. For those of you who know Augustine and his family, know they are the most loving people and would do anything for anyone. This is the time we need to help them out if we can. Anything is much appreciated.
