Our objective for 2016 is to obtain club Van so we can provide rides to people that have noway of making it to the boxing club. We would like to raise some funds to purchase a van to go on boxing shows and use to pickup kids from school and take them home. We have kids that want to box, but have noway of getting to the boxing club. we have some parents that pick up other kids but we still have some that can't make it.The Augusta Boxing Club is a Non-Profit organization and works off of donations to provide and safe contructive environment for the kids of our future.
The Augusta Boxing Club has been a superior program in the Augusta community for over two decades. The Club has maintained its commitment to serving youth. We are proud to report that comprehensive evaluation of progress of our youth has revealed positive results worthy of high lightening. Objective evidence supports the fact our program is successful. Not only are students of the boxing club healthier, they remain at lower risks for poor lifestyle choices, maintain a higher level of academic excellence when compared to similar youth. Our youth program is categorically from disadvantaged homes, but with the support of parents, community leaders, the Augusta Boxing Club, Inc. Remain successful. 2015 was a very successful year for the Augusta Boxing Club, led by our director Ray Whitfield who resume his pro career and closed out the year with two pro fights winning both fights by TKO. The Augusta Boxing Club then had 8 young amatuer boxers represent Georgia as Sliver Glove champions and 4 of the 8 moved forward to the National Silver Glove Champion.
