Auggie's Treatment: A Chance for Life

Help us give our dearest Auggie more time on this earth with his hoomans and brother.

Augnacious T. Winter was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a terminal metastatic bone cancer. He is a 7 year young, full of life and love, one-of-a-kind greyhound. At this time, Auggie’s cancer is localized to his left shoulder. This means amputation of his front left leg and shoulder will remove the primary lesion and give him a better quality of life as he lives out the rest of his time. With further biopsy of the lesion, it will determine whether he will also need additional treatments such as chemo.

Those who have had the pleasure of meeting Auggie know how truly special he is. His gentle spirit and way of staring right into your soul makes you feel seen and known at first meeting. This goofy, lanky, tongue out, Matzo ball soup smelling noodle is not ready to leave us yet.
