On behalf of Chance and Mackenzie Johnson, Their sweet Auggie, (first born) needs urgent surgery.

Auggie is a 6-year-old Lab/Pitt mix who has never met a stranger. She greets everyone with her full-body butt wiggles and somehow manages to steal every heart she meets.

Recently, they discovered a rapidly growing mass on her hip that has now reached the size of a baseball. After seeing the vet today, we were told it needs to be removed immediately. The mass is extremely vascular and located in a delicate area near important nerves, which means a surgical specialist is required.

This has all happened very quickly, and the urgency has been overwhelming.

They were not prepared for a major surgical expense like this, but they are not willing to delay care when it affects Auggie’s quality of life.

We are raising funds to help cover:

• Surgical removal of the mass

• Anesthesia and monitoring

• Pathology testing

• Post-operative care
