Audrey’s “tummy bump”

Hello, my name is Amber. I met Audrey’s mom, Stephanie Sampson, in third grade, and we have been best friends for the past 29 years. Steph has helped countless people with her nurturing spirit as well as worked as a front line ER nurse in Harrisburg for almost a decade. Audrey’s father, Cameron Wells, whom I met in 7th grade, is the most hospitable man you’ll ever meet. They have a beautiful family consisting of five children who are their entire world.

As a lot of you may know, this couple will help absolutely anyone in need, it’s just their nature but right now it’s our turn to offer them support.

Please help my best friend and her family get through this challenging time.

On January 26, 2022, their sweet five year old daughter Audrey Wells was diagnosed with a pediatric peri-aortic tumor. (She refers to it as her “tummy bump”). After testing, doctors think that she has a rare tumor called a ganglioneuroblastoma and she will need a major pediatric surgery to biopsy and remove it from her tiny body. She has lost a significant amount of weight from 50 lbs to 42 lbs and family is trying to help her regain the strength to endure her surgery.

Audrey’s scans are being reviewed right now by three different Children’s hospitals surgical teams and all opinions taken into consideration by her family as to who will perform surgery on their little girl.

Although we can’t take this pain away, with just a small donation maybe we can help ease this stressful time in their life.

All money will go to the family to support Audrey and to help with travel expenses, medical bills and missed work as they navigate through this devastating time in their families lives.
