My sweet niece, Audrey Lynn, is only 2 ½ years old, and our family’s world has been turned upside down.
For weeks, Audrey had been getting sick in the mornings, losing her appetite, and complaining about her head hurting. After exhausting every other possibility, doctors ordered an MRI- and that’s when they found a tumor on her brain.
On Monday, September 29th, Audrey underwent surgery at Children’s Hospital. The doctors were able to remove the entire tumor, which is an incredible relief. A follow-up MRI has confirmed that it was completely removed. We are now waiting for the biopsy results, which will take about three weeks, but her medical team believes the tumor is cancerous. For now, the focus is on helping Audrey recover from her surgery before beginning her treatment plan.
Unfortunately, Audrey only has Highmark Insurance through West Virginia, and many of her medical expenses will not be covered. Our family is preparing for significant hospital bills as well as the possibility of ongoing treatments and long-term care.
We are asking for support- whether through a donation, sharing this page, or keeping Audrey in your prayers. Every contribution will go directly toward her hospital bills and any additional medical expenses as she begins this fight.
Audrey is a bright, beautiful little girl who deserves the chance to grow up healthy and strong. With your support, we can help ease the financial burden on her parents so they can focus on what truly matters: helping Audrey heal.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you!
