Audrey's AT Gear Replacement Fund

I'm about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime (on a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail!), and a few kind souls have asked if they could buy me a piece of gear to contribute to my journey. I have just about everything I need at this time, but inevitably, gear will wear out and need to be replaced. The average thru-hiker goes through four to five pairs of shoes!! So I wanted to create an account here in case folks are  inclined to help buy my next pair of hiking boots, my future lost water bottle, etc. In return, I promise to share lots of stories, photos, and advice if any of you find yourselves following a journey of this kind in the future.
