Audrey Hill's Funeral Service

Audrey Hill was born in Carmel California and lived in San Jose, California. My mother retired at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Palo Alto and Menlo Park, CA.  My mother  meant everything to me as she was my best friend growing up and I was her only son  which was a challenge for her although she tried hard not to show it. Audrey also worked two jobs in order to take care of us during my child hood which was early mornings at the VA Hospital and during the evenings working at a Home Care facility.  While growing up I watched my mother work hard which motivated myself to strive and go after my goals and I did my best to show her. I honestly wish I had more time to show her what her hard work has shown me and ingrain in my head to continue going after what ever challenges that come my way. The sudden death of my mother is not a challenge that I saw coming I have to admit although a challenge is a challenge and what I am learning is sometimes we don't get to choose our tests in life as the test comes before the lesson. The reason that I am writing this as well as sharing a bit about my mother is that in the past 18 months my mom lost her father and now she has joined him. This is still a shock for myself and my family realizing that now my mother is gone after losing my Grandfather back in 2017 to now come back home to lay to rest my mother has not only shaken us spiritually, mentally, and of-course the reason for this Go Fund Me is financially. My mother lost her life this past Thursday night while I was away for work and I rushed to be by her side shortly after to an understanding that my mother had lapsed on her life insurance policy, and the mortuary service is not going to help us with anything.  My family and I are working with a Mortuary Service that will be more affordable for us however they need all the money upfront which again is one of those challenges that I mentioned earlier. I have read your sincere condolences which my family and I truly appreciate and I do understand many of my mother's closest friends as well as mine have mentioned that if there is anything that you can do well this is one of the things that would help my family and I tremendously. I am wanting to have a Memorial Service for her this weekend preferably and the Funeral Home in order to secure dates as well as her body need to be compensated in full. I will be in charge of final expenses as I am her next of kin so setting my pride aside yet once again if you can please help with what ever you can so that we can provide my mother with a respectable home going from friends and family.
