Audrey come back and smile again

Hi you all, Rick here and I am trying to make sure my beautiful wife Audrey of 13 years gets every piece of help she needs and very much deserves. I am doing the very best I can with this difficult situation we have been put in but it’s a lot to handle

This is an example of our medical systems failing this vibrant, beautiful and young woman

Symptoms started about 2 to 3 years ago - she's been trying to get help and bounced from doctor to doctor who kept saying conflicting things. Finally she ends up with the right diagnosis (my belief - too late). Hemochromatosis is what started it and essentially it's too much iron in her blood , the only solution was blood letting twice a month. The iron was already killing her organs at this point. The lab refused her a few blood letting appointments due to some numbers being off - they should have done it anyway. Along with pancreatitis and almost constant migraines, That landed her two separate incidents (should have never been discharged) in the hospital three weeks total where the liver and kidneys said nope we are done.

So she can't work and i am taking care of her and navigating this caregiving system and trying to find support where i can to make sure I. An give her everything she needs , I have her best friend in my ear making sure I am connected with the VA and the veterans resource center and keeping me on track with it all.

If you can help that would be great and extremely helpful, we are barely staying afloat and haven't even begun to open the hospital bills which I’m sure are on their way.
