Audley Cricket New Nets Project

We are incredibly excited to announce that we have received grant funding in principle to replace our practice nets which will create two new state-of-the-art cricket nets at Audley Cricket Club. We now need your help to us to finalise the project.

The funding covers the majority of the £40,000+ installation but Audley Cricket Club needs to pay a contribution to the costs. This will mean we benefit from enviable new nets at a fraction of their cost.

This enhanced practice facility will be of invaluable use to all of our members – both for our Friday evening junior practice sessions and enabling evening nets sessions for our adult teams.

This installation represents a key step as we aim to ensure the Club provides high-quality practice and playing facilities for years to come.

The Club has been crying out for new practice nets for many years, but until now it had not seemed possible. A team of volunteers has been working hard over the past few months to identify suitable grants, create a grant submission, draw up plans, seek 3 competitive quotes and apply for planning permission. We are now very close to achieving our ambition.

We know that times are tough for many people at the moment, but any contribution you can make will help us to make our new nets a reality.

Audley Cricket Club takes its place in the community seriously and we do what we can to encourage people to take up the game of cricket for fitness, mental wellbeing and just being part of the Audley Cricket Club family.
