In honor of the 20th anniversary of its original publication in 2001, it's time to create an audio edition of my first novel, THE SPEED OF LIGHT. As many of you already know, the book won several prizes, was translated into nine languages, and was a national bestseller. It continues to find enthusiastic readers in book groups around the world, and the paperback remains in print after all these years.

Having been privileged to serve as narrator in recording both of my most recent titles, ELECTRIC CITY and SURVIVOR CAFE, I am thrilled to say that I've now found a studio to work with for THE SPEED OF LIGHT. Since there are three first-person narrators in this novel, I will be recording one of the voices myself (Paula); we'll be hiring actors for the other two characters (Julian and Sola).

This fundraiser is aimed at raising enough money to cover the initial costs involved in producing the audiobook. I'm grateful for any support you can offer to our help move this project forward.
