Hello all! As most of you hopefully know, I started a blog a while back and have been posting daily about my journey through mental illness, an eating disorder, and my navigation through perfectionism and creativity.
I was asked to be a guest on a podcast not too long ago, and in the coming week I will be recording it. The problem I'm having is that I was asked to speak on this podcast because of my blog, yet I don't have an official domain name yet. And as someone who had to postpone working to seek treatment, my funds are very low.
I am challenging the part of myself that feels selfish for asking you for this money, because I don't want to be perceived negatively for reaching out. But I am putting that aside (putting down the rope, if you will) because my blog is something I am proud of, and have worked hard for. I understand not all of you have anything to give, and that is 100% ok. Anything that you can contribute will be a huge help.
I am committed to my blog, and I want to be taken seriously as a writer and a creator. I would love to go on this podcast and give the official name of my website- PuttingDownTheRope.com. I'm sure it will sound better than "ramble-ramble-make-sure-to-spell-my-tricky-last-name-correctly-dot-Wordpress-dot-com."
