Help for Brenda's family

Our sister Brenda  suffered a brain injury after respiratory and cardiac arrest last Monday, April 2.  Sadly, she passed away on the evening of April 9 in Halifax, NS .
She and her husband of 23 years Chuck adopted their two beloved children Noah (15 ) and Ava (14) from the Home of the Guardian Angel.  Brenda was a valued member of a close knit and extended family who was raised in Cape Breton. She was a loving and dedicated teacher who taught elementary school in Halifax for several years but she was forced to go on disability in 2017 due to serious health issues. She struggled with both Oral and Breast Cancer, and after many rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, Brenda's immune system failed her. She developed flesh eating disease and lost part of her leg muscle and was plagued with many other ailments. Things got worse when Brenda was burdened with Lymphedema and became incapacitated due to severe  fluid retention and extreme swelling in her legs and feet.  She lived in this state for 6 years. Brenda always remained positive and said " There is always someone worse off than me".  Brenda always gave her all to family and friends and many people have asked us how they can help during this time of need.  Any help would be greatly appreciated for her husband and children moving forward.
