Hi, my name is Scott, and I’m raising funds for my cat, Auburn, who urgently needs dental surgery due to severe periodontal disease linked to her FIV.

Auburn came into my life as a foster cat, along with her 2 remaining kittens, after being rescued. While her kittens all found homes, Auburn’s journey has been much more difficult. It took me over six months to help her build trust and feel safe around people. She was adopted three separate times, but each time she was returned, which made it clear that she needed stability and a home that truly understood her needs. Because of that, I decided to adopt her permanently so she could finally have a secure and loving environment.

This situation is deeply important to me because Auburn has already been through so much uncertainty and rejection. She has made incredible progress, and she deserves a life without pain and fear. Knowing that she is currently suffering from a painful dental condition makes it even more urgent to act. Recently, during a full check-up, Auburn was diagnosed with severe periodontal disease (common in cats, but painful if untreated), likely linked to her FIV condition. She now urgently needs dental surgery to remove infected teeth and relieve her pain. Unfortunately, returning her to the rescue isn’t an option — they are already overwhelmed and unable to cover the cost of her treatment, especially her dental care. I observed during my foster journey with them that they are all doing their best to rescue as many animals as possible.

I’m doing everything I can, but the surgery is expensive, and I need help to give Auburn the pain-free life she deserves. If you’re able to contribute, even a small amount would mean the world. If not, sharing this post would help more than you know.
