Hi All: Please check the updates section for the latest information on Aubrie's fight. Our little warrior has been so courageous for the last few months and we are now expecting a Bone Marrow Transplant on November 1st. These next few days are critical and in addition to the lengthy hospital stay, there will be months in a special home post-procedure. This home, post-procedure, is over 120 miles round-trip from family. This journey to transplant day has taken us much longer than expected however we are very grateful that Aubrie stayed positive and courageous throughout each new challenge that came her way. She is inspiring in so many ways!
Once again, we are so grateful for your consideration. We wish Aubrie and her family care team (Mommy Carissa; Brother Louie, Step-dad Carlos; Nana & Papa, Dina & Chris; and Uncle Mike & Aunt Stephanie) all the strength as they pull together to support each other through this. We are grateful for the extended family, friends and co-workers supporting them as well. Thank you in advance for your prayers and support. Aubrie our hearts are with you. You truly are a warrior!

Hi All: Our young 11-year-old warrior, Aubrie Dawson is in a fight for her life and she needs her family focused on her cure and by her side. We want to help make that possible by ensuring the family won't have to worry about finances as they travel back and forth for her treatments, specialist appointments and frequent hospital stays after her sudden & recent diagnosis of Severe Aplastic Anemia.
Aubrie is currently being treated in the hospital in Aurora, CO and needs both red blood cells and platelet transfusions as she searches for a Bone Marrow match to save her life.
Her medical team has been amazing given the urgency of Aubrie's situation. Aubrie needs another biopsy in the next week or two and since there is no 100% matched sibling/family member, they are going to start her on immune suppressant therapy while looking for a match. We encourage you to join the registry by texting AubriesAWarrior to 61474 to learn more.

A bit more of Aubrie's story...

Background: Newly treated for liver failure December 2022, recent bone marrow failure March 2023. Before December she was a perfectly happy and healthy little girl. Aubrie loves going to school, math is her favorite subject. She aspires to become a veterinarian when she is older. Aubrie enjoys soap making, coloring, jewelry making and many other crafts. Although she currently cannot do any contact sports due to her condition, Aubrie has enjoyed basketball and jujitsu in the past and really wants to join volleyball and gymnastics in the future. Her favorite person in the whole world is her little brother, Luciano aka Louie. He is one and a half years old and already they are the best of friends, each other's protectors, and little partners in crime! Aubrie is so compassionate and selfless, Her first reaction to not being able to continue school in person was to have the care team at school check on her friends since she wasn't going to be there anymore. She usually is the one to keep everyone else's spirits up in unforgiving situations, and now it's our turn to lift her spirits. We just wish to give Aubrie her best chance at beating all this so she can grow and flourish into the strong, intelligent, and remarkable woman we know she will be.

Many have asked how we can help 1) if you are in the USA and age 18-40, please join the Bone Marrow Registry. 2) let's financially relieve the family to allow them to focus 100% on the support Aubrie needs.

We are so grateful for your consideration.

Aubrie created this beautiful sticker to thank us all . Her choice of words speaks straight to the type of spirit this precious kiddo is ❤️ What a beautiful attitude in such a difficult situation.
