Anyone who has ever met Aubrey Claire knows she is a beautiful, sweet, sassy, bold, and fun loving child. She is a brilliant and wonderful blessing from God. She has overcome great obstacles in her young life, beginning with being born with half a heart in 2015. For the past 3 years, she has struggled through several heart surgeries and illnesses with more courage than many adults could. Despite her and her parents doing everything they could to fight, her heart is now weakening to an unstable level. The doctors have informed her loved ones that she will need a heart transplant, as her own little heart can’t sustain her for much longer. Her heart weakening has caused her to slip into very poor health as the rest of her body tries to compensate. At this time, she is fighting to reach a healthy enough point to be eligible to receive a transplant. No one yet knows how long this may take or what this will fully entail. Her parents, Ashley and Nathan, and her baby brother Blake are by her side throughout all of this, and continue to sit with her each day in Boston while praying together for strength and hope. This is a wonderful family who needs any help they can get in this time. They need your thoughts and prayers during these challenging times. It is unknown how long they will have to remain in Boston, what medical expenses will pile up, and if they will have to move the entire family up there.
