Aubrey NYLF Pathways Summer STEM Program 2024

Hi I am Dayna, and I set this page up for my daughter, Aubrey, who was nominated by her school to attend STEM Program through ENVISION by WorldStrides that is called National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Pathways to STEM. This program is held at Villanova University outside of Philadelphia, PA this summer. This will give Aubrey an unparalleled opportunity while still in elementary school to discover her personal strengths and to begin to acquire the leadership and life skills needed for academic and career success. Aubrey will have the opportunity to explore a future career in three exciting STEM Pathways: medicine, engineering, and crime scene investigation (CSI). This program is a once in a lifetime experience, and Aubrey would really like to attend. These funds will cover the cost of the program at Villanova and room and board. Any donation will help to make this dream of Aubrey's come true. Below, Aubrey wanted to share some words of her own for you all to read. See below...

Hello everyone, my name is Aubrey and I was nominated by my 3rd grade teacher for this amazing summer program. I will be able to go to a real college campus and take classes that focus on STEM. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math! Science and Math are my favorite subjects, but I really like to read and write too, so I really like all subjects. In my spare time I like to do experiments and come up with different concoctions. Also, I like to read and research all types of animals and learn about how science plays a part in how the world operates every day. The Gifted and Talented Academy has given me great opportunities to learn about all of these things and more! I want to thank my teachers and administrators for nominating me, and I can't wait to attend the program this summer. Thank you for all your help!
