Meet Aubrey! This strong and driven single

mother has worked many years as a caregiver in health care to others. This year she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of stage 3 breast cancer which acted fast spreading to her lymph nodes. Besides losing her hair to chemo she also had a severe allergic reaction to it which laid her up in the hospital much longer than she anticipated. Following her release from the hospital she was rushed directly back in with a burst appendix and necrosis in her jaw. This is now month four. We all know how much ambulance and medical bills cost, since she started chemo she has had to stop working which has caused those bills to start piling up. Her house payments are falling behind which includes utility payments, car payments, and also medical costs. At this point it’s unclear as to when or if she’s going to be able to return to work, she has a long road ahead of her.

Not only is she an incredible and passionate person but she’s also an amazing friend, one of my closest.
