Hello my name is Cheyenne Sloan, and I am setting up this fundraiser to help my father (Randy Brabec) cover medical bills and costs for his Kidney and Dialysis surgeries and treatments.

In 2015 my father was bitten by a spider while him and I were in Africa for my high school graduation present. Soon after returning home he became septic and was rushed to the emergency room for the bite on his leg. The poison had worked its way into his blood stream and was shutting down all of his organs. He was helped before more damage could be done, however both of his kidneys shut down as a result.

There have been many complications along the way, with many surgeries and procedures.

We are very actively trying to find him a kidney and raise the money to help pay off medical expenses for after the surgery. He will be staying in Denver or Salt Lake City for 6 to 8 weeks after surgery for recovery. He has insurance but as we all know, it does not cover everything. For example it will not cover his after surgery care, outpatient service, transportation to and from the hospital and all personal care.

Randy is very active in both of his daughters lives, as well as his 2 year old grandson's life. He enjoys being outside hiking in the mountains as well as shooting professional archery.

With help from all of you we can get Randy back on his feet and healthy with the knowledge that he has so many people standing behind him and showing him the love and courage he needs.

Randy has an O blood type and he lives in Grand Junction Colorado. He is currently going through Denver but is talking with Salt Lake City as well for a transplant surgery. He does not currently have a donor available, so we are welcome to absolutely any help in finding someone!
