Pete got cleaned out by Hurricane Ian. Bastard.

It's Dana Marie from Orlando, FL. I am hoping to help out your friend and mine, Peter Nathan Roquemore.

At 3a in the morning on 11/29/22, Hurricane Ian had dumped so much water in the lake behind his house that it flooded his house almost up to the ceiling. He, his girlfriend and his roommates packed up the cats in the cat carrier. They had to walk in chest-high water after they couldn't drive anymore.

He held the cat carrier over his head as they headed down the street that was basically a river. They were rescued by an ambulance and taken to an Apopka Shelter for the night. This is not a movie plot.

He is now staying at a friend's house and is safe! However, his car was still underwater 12 hours later. He has lost his car, computers, and all of his possessions: clothes, books, birth certificate, SSN, passport, photos - some family treasures, artwork, and personal items. Everything has been underwater.

So we'd love to bless Sweet Pete to get back on his feet with some items, esp a computer, so he can return to work.
