Scott's Recovery Fund

Scott lives in Cottonwood, Arizona and is a local reserve Firefighter/EMT in the Verde Valley area . After suffering a severe break to his leg during a softball accident, we are left with very high medical bills and little income during the estimated 2 months he will be out of work. Scott's injury will require surgery that is going to take place in the next few days and it leaves us with very high costs. 

Scott is highly motivated and this time out of work is going to be very difficult on him. Since his time starting work in the Emergency Medical Services Scott has displayed great eagerness to help the members of the community and to execute the highest level of care for his patients. He truly has the kindest heart I know. Because we do not qualify for any benefits to help cover these expenses, we are left in a very stressful situation.

I currently am only working part time and I am a full time student finishing the last year of my bachelor's degree. The daunting realization of becoming the sole income earner in the household is starting to set in as it is very limited. I will be increasing my shedule at work as well as continuing school and starting an internship.

We are so lucky to have many friends in the community and family members that are very supportive. Any money raised would go to cover medical expenses. If there is any assistance you could give to help us through this hard time we would be ever grateful. We are blessed to have each other and know that we will get through this.
