My daughter-in-law (DIL) has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. She was an operator with a local plant and the main paycheck. Here we are one year later, and now this company has decided she has lived too long and is terminating all of her benefits. She had long-term disability. Well, long-term stops at a year. She is on hospice and has a pain med regimen that is keeping her comfortable. That will be terminated unless she pays $1,000 a month for her insurance. I don't have all the details, but until my son can get legal advice, he needs help with bills. He has had to take off to take care of his wife.
