Rita, who has been an integral part of our community for more than three decades now, has recently been diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. She was diagnosed in March and quickly started intense chemotherapy. Sadly, her chemo treatments have left her unable to work and barely able to take care of herself. Rita spent the last year and a half providing fulltime daycare to her grandson. Rita is an amazing grandmother and the love and care she has shown Diego has allowed her daughter and son-in-law to continue in their careers.
