As some of you may know, Tony's MRI results from his knee showed a torn ACL,MCL, medial meniscus, and lateral meniscus. I don't know about you, but just reading that makes my knee hurt.
Those of you that know Tony, know he has one of the most kind, compassionate, and generous hearts. Likely, he has shown up for you when you needed it the most, even when he didn't have much to give himself.
We thought it was time to give back some of the unconditional support that he has shown to so many, in different communities, over the years.
Tony's surgery hasn't been scheduled yet, but he will have a long recovery process ahead of him. Donations raised will go towards any medical expenses not covered and his average living expenses for 3 months. We will know more in the next week or so.
One of the questions asked to explain this campaign is, "Why does this mean so much to you?" That is a tough question to sum up in a brief time. Simply put, Tony has always been there for Austi and me. He has dropped everything to help look for our lost Foster while we were out of town, answered a desperate phone call when I thought the bottom was falling out, and so many other examples of what it means to be a true friend and a good man.
However, his one downfall is asking for help. So, we are doing it for him. Any support will be much appreciated.
