My name is Madison and I am fundraising for my friend, Jandy Rowell.

Jandy, the mother, has incurred major legal fees while trying to save Dax, her five-year-old son, from being turned back over to his father, who Dax has stated was his sexual abuser. This has been confirmed by several child therapists. We also know that there is an accusation from the father's older son. Sadly this same father admitted to having sex with his half-sister, but she says he raped her. Father was asked by a family he was staying with to leave their home because their 3-year-old daughter accused him of coming into her room late at night. Father raped the mother which caused the final straw and divorce, but the "system" said "do not put that in the papers or file a report because nobody will believe you, you are married" as if abusers don't harm their spouses. We have a statement that he was also dishonorably discharged for beating a gay man and we are currently requesting this information in a Freedom of Information Act to find out the facts.

Now, Plano PD has issued two warrants, we do not see the warrants in the system. Yet Jandy is being held in Tennessee on Kidnapping charges.

Every state needs a protocol that any sexual abuse allegation gets kicked into a criminal investigation and is not handled by the family court. We will be lobbying and advocating for this to happen in every state. Every child should be believed until unequivocally proven false. The system said they can't prove it happened, but the system also can't prove it didn't. But this father's history of violence is alarming, to say the least.

All she ever wanted was a proper investigation into her child's allegations. These allegations were not brought up during divorce or custody, it wasn't a weapon. These allegations came up when the child spent more time with the father post-divorce. She did the right thing by withholding the child until the allegations were properly investigated, which Plano PD has refused to do.

It's a disgrace that money would be such a key factor in whether or not a child is saved from receiving more alleged sexual abuse, but that is how our system is set up. Please consider donating if you want to see these things exposed and stopped.
