Attorney Fees for The Parlor

The Parlor is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Columbus Songwriters Association.

After a year of advocacy and legal battles with the Ohio Investigative Unit for their 4 charges against house concerts at The Parlor , through the direct support of attorney Wes Freeman and advisory from Daniel Allen, Steve Palmer, Kurt Gearhiser, and many friends... the charges were reduced to a $250 fine.

We're raising donations to support the $4,000 in attorney fees and the revival of intimate house concerts in Downtown Columbus. Through these house concerts, many payments will be made to local musicians and touring songwriters (as of 1/7/2021 we've allocated $3,000 towards this goal). Tax deductible donations will be accepted by the non-profit, Columbus Songwriters Association.

Any donation over $10

You will receive a private release of Joey Hendrickson's new single called, "Never Drink You Away" that he wrote and produced during The Parlor charges and trials. The single will be privately sent via email
You will receive a letter of acknowledgement for your tax-deductible donation

Any donation over $50

Invitation to a future house concert produced in partnership by The Parlor and Columbus Songwriters Association. (Alcohol will continue to not be sold at these house concerts)
You will also receive a privately released single "Never Drink You Away" by Joey Hendrickson
You will also receive a letter of acknowledgement for your donation
