Attorney fees for Amplify Chicago graduate
Donation protected
Douglas graduated from Amplify Chicago in June 2019 after prior involvement in the criminal justice system. Through his experience in Amplify, a program designed to place young men on career pathways, provide academic enhancements and teach the basics of wealth management and investing, Douglas was inspired to co-found Amplify Investments - a nonprofit aimed at teaching families in Chicago how to invest and build wealth. He also started school full-time at National Louis University in pursuit of his Bachelor's degree at age 26. During the first weekend of the recent unrest, he was profiled and stopped by the police in Chicago while picking his girlfriend up from work. He ended up being taken in to Cook County jail. His court date is on July 9th. We are asking for your support in covering the fees for his attorneys. Please help us raise $3,000 by July 4th!
