We are the Schiafo sisters, and we are fundraising to help support our youngest sister and her family during an emotionally and financially stressful time. Harley and Nick Moon are wonderful parents to two amazing children, Theodore Russell and Atticus Graham. Atticus was born June 20th, 2022. Since that time, he has spent a majority of his life in a hospital due to a variety of complications and infections. Atti has already had to endure procedures and surgeries in his short life, and will likely require ongoing specialty care. Per Harley:  

“My sweet Atti was born with a multi cystic dysplastic kidney. In his short life, Atti has already experienced multiple hospital stays, too many pokes and prods, and even his first medical procedure. Unfortunely his kidney has caused him various health issues, ranging from dehydration to MRSA. While we are no where near being out of the woods yet, we feel confident that Atti is on the path to living a happy, healthy life.”

Harley has been a rockstar of a mother, at Atti’s side through it all. Nick has been working tirelessly, full time, running their farm and caring for rambunctious Theo.

Harley and Nick are two of the kindest, most passionate, and dedicated parents and humans. We all know the exorbitant cost of childbirth, let alone specialty medical care (I won’t get on my soapbox here). As Harlan’s sisters, we would do anything to help our family. We know we cannot take away the emotional hardship they are facing, so we are hoping to alleviate some of the financial ones.
