From September 2022 we've started raising funds again
The diagnosis rates for ADHD are low.
Currently less than half as many women are diagnosed than men are.
Not being diagnosed has profound effects on people's health and wellbeing.
The majority of people either aren't aware, or aren't paying attention and we think that this should change.
We have two main aims for the film:
1. To raise awareness
2. To create a distinctive film that will do the crew and the ADHD community justice
We really need your help to fund the film.
Your donation will go towards covering the cost of everything, including:
1. Paying the crew
2. Hiring equipment
3. Crafting the film in post-production
4. Getting the film out there to audiences
What your donations will go towards:
Yas Ismail
Director / Producer
I am a Documentary Producer, Filmmaker and Journalist from London. I am currently producing and directing a documentary for the BBC. Prior to this I was a Digital Producer for brands including The Guardian and BBC Three and worked as a film programmer at an independent cinema and for film festivals in the UK.
As a director, I am most interested in innovatively telling stories that are rarely told, and drawn to films which explore social issues and films where gender, race and class intersect.
