Becoming an architect is an incredible opportunity that gives me a chance to leave an impact. Being an architectural engineer will provide me with the best of both worlds; I could help develop environmentally sound ideas while providing people with sustainable equestrian facilities, homes, and community areas they could love and reduce our carbon footprint.
My name is Sierra L. Washington. I am in the 11th grade at Palm Beach Central High School; I was nominated to represent my school and community in Wellington, FL. Attending the National Youth Leadership: Engineering program at the University of California - Berkley, July 8-15.
I will join other motivated students nationwide for an experiential Leadership/Career Exploration program. Below is a sample itinerary, fundraising timeline, and a link to the program for additional details.
