Hi everyone,

My name is Anoush Chohilli and I have been nominated to attend the National Leadership Forum in Canberra this year. This event will help tremendously with my professional development.

A bit about me

Anoush Chohilli Sooby AMAIB is a construction professional with over 8 years of industry experience in all aspects of the project lifecycle in various sectors of the built environment. He has a Bachelor Construction Management (minor in Property Investment) from Western Sydney University (WSU) and utilises this skill set in his day to day working life.

Anoush is currently pursuing chartership with both the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and actively volunteers with both committees in the Sydney region. He is currently the president of the Young Builders Alliance (YBA) an initiative of the AlB and co-chair of the Tomorrow's Leaders (TL) Committee of the ClOB and assists in the running of events to ensure that there is a stronger cohort of construction professionals going through the industry in the coming years.

Currently, Anoush is working on his PhD on place of worship planning, design and construction for places of worship. He also has a keen interest in academia and will pursue further education in aspects relating to construction law, education and business administration. On the side, I have an interest in formal menswear and have recently started making my own bow ties.
