My name is Dr. Azril Bacal Roij, 84-old Peruvian sociologist and writer in Uppsala, Sweden. Affiliated at the Center of Environmental and Development Studies (CEMUS) at Uppsala University (Program "Coffee with Paulo Freire") and currently a doctoral student at ISEC, Universidad de Córdoba (Spain) where I am presenting a seminar on 19/6/25. Old member of the International Sociological Association, former board member of Research Committees 10, 05 and 26. Currently I am listed in the program of this event as a Session Chair on "Action-Research and the Multiplicity of Theoretical Orientations and Methodological Applications" on Monday 7 July 2025 (15.00 - 16.45). At my age it is difficult to get funding for such events. Given my age, it is likely to be my farewell to my colleagues at ISA. This is why it is extremely important to me. The funds will be used to cover: travel costs (Spain-Marrocco - Spain) about 3000 SEK, Congress registration (3580 SEK), Hotel (about 3000 SEK, local travel and living costs (about 3500 SEK), a total amount of abput 13,000 SEK (about 1,300 Euros).
