Attend Aerospace & Aviation Academy at Rice Univ

Hi, my name is Liam and I am a junior at J. R. Tucker High School in Richmond, VA. I am trying to get to Houston, TX to attend the Aerospace and Aviation Academy at Rice University. I was invited by the College Board to attend the Academy, but the tuition is $6,474 and my travel costs are expected to be about $500 on top of that. It's a bit of a stretch for my mom and me since we are also saving money for me to go to college and we just found out our dog needs surgery for a tumor on her leg. But this is such a great opportunity that I don't want to miss it. I get to learn about Aerospace Engineering which is what I want to study in college. I will get to design and launch a satellite and visit Space Center Houston. Any amount will help to reach my goal. Thank you!
