I am Mirren MacLeod and I am fundraising to attend the Space Debris Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on the 26th - 27th of January 2026.
I am the commissioner of the International Recycling Space Station. An in-orbit space station to repair, reuse, repurpose and recycle satellites and space debris. Repurposing the ISS and consolidating global efforts for space junk remediation, ensuring the availability of space.
Space operations shape the world as it is today, GPS, internet, science and the ballpoint pen. There are more than 29,000 dead satellites including rocket bodies and over 130 million fragments of space debris (ESA debris report 2025) orbiting earth at over 7 times the speed of a bullet. Each piece holds the potential to cause catastrophic cascading collisions events. (Kessler effect).
I am raising funds to attend the Space Debris Conference on the 26th-27th of January 2026 as this is an extremely important & pivotal point in time to gain support and spread information for the International Recycling Space Station, to listen and talk to global experts, and learn about emerging technology.
I would be extremely grateful to use the funds to buy return plane tickets to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from Adelaide, SA and travel costs including accommodation and conference registration.
I am extremely determined to be in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to drive a long lasting and profound solution ensuring the availability of space with your support.
