I decided to start a Gofundme after I watched a video of our president saying Americans have more money in their pockets than before the demic and I have not been able to shake the anger that has caused me to feel inside. As many of you know Tay and I decided to move across the country in search of new challenges, fresh start, and more freedom. This is not meant to be a woe is me because I am not one to ask for help or show weakness but I really want to know who the fuck is better off after all this bullshit. Struggling to keep up with payments, having to sell majority of our stuff, downsizing our life, and even living with my parents. Some will say it's my fault because I opted out of collecting unemployment, I've collected ZERO government assistance. I'm proud of that. I would consider us people who work pretty hard and have put in a lot of hours and sacrificed many events with family and friends. And as we struggle to catch up on all the payments we are behind on, new challenges arise. Security deposit for our rental we weren't made aware of until we got here, new tires for the car, the truck breaking down, and now a broken tooth that I see no way of affording. So here is my first attempt of sitting here shaking a cup asking for spare change. I'm far from giving up, but damn this one hurts in a whole different way because it feels forced upon me no matter how positive I've tried to keep my mindset.
