Attacked by homeless man with his feces

Unfortunately most of the country now knows me as the woman who had a bucket of feces thrown on her by a homeless man ... what most don't realize is that I was attacked and THEN he poured his feces all over me. I am suffering from PTSD and have been experiencing back and hip pain from this gentleman throwing me violently into my car ... I am seeking help for my mental health but because I do not have the best insurance I can not see someone for all of my issues. I also am supposed to get tested every few months for various diseases ...

Unfortunately we have found out that I can not sue the city for damages because I was unaware that there was a time limit, I was never contacted by anyone after the attack to let me know of my rights until this came out in the news and by then it was too late. The city of Los Angeles dropped the ball on my case and let the man go because he was not "fit to stand trial" ... The fear I have knowing that he is out there and the anxiety of running into him again are debilitating. 

I have so much pride that I didn't want to do this, but because of my story in the news people have been asking if I had a go fund me page to help me with expenses and medical fees ...  So here it is, and I am grateful for everyone who have been so kind during this incredibly embarrassing and painful experience.
