Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for help for my dad during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time.

My dad recently underwent hernia repair surgery, but during the procedure he experienced complications and lost a portion of his intestine. Since then, his recovery has been challenging, and he is continuing to have medical issues, which includes more testing and more doctors visits once he is discharged.

Because of these complications, my dad will be out of work for at least two months. Unfortunately, due to a job change earlier this year, he does not currently have health insurance and does not have paid vacation or sick leave. This has made an already stressful situation even more overwhelming as medical bills and everyday expenses continue to add up.

My dad has always been a hard worker and someone who shows up for others whenever he can. Asking for help is not easy for our family, but right now we truly need support so he can focus on healing instead of worrying about how bills will be paid.

All donations will go directly toward medical expenses, medications, follow-up appointments, and basic living costs while he is unable to work. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser or keeping him in your thoughts and prayers means just as much.
